Q：What is ITEQ's dividend policy?

A：ITEQ does not pay dividends when there is no profit for a particular fiscal year, except under certain conditions specified in its Articles of Incorporation. Profits may be distributed by way of cash dividend, stock dividend, or a combination of cash and stock. The preferred method of distributing profits is by way of cash dividend. Under ITEQ's Articles of Incorporation, cash dividend shall exceed 20% of the total distribution in any given fiscal year.

	A：In connection with the stock dividend to be distributed to common shareholders, no fractional common shares will be issued, either. However, holders of ITEQ common shares listed and traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange may arrange for pooling together their fractional share entitlements to form one share and register such pooling in connection with the stock dividend. For the fractional shares which can not be pooled, the distribution will be made in cash in dollar amount calculated at par value.
